The BROWN family acquired
its first land in the Browntown area about 1760, after having been in
South Carolina for some time. The diligence of this family resulted
in a very successful agrarian enterprise. The museum is located on
SC highway 341, ten miles east of Lake City. Open (Saturday 9AM
to 4PM).
